Art

Bali is home to such a beautiful landscape and vivid culture, it is not surprising the island is filled with inspired artists and performers. Bali’s galleries offer a collection of incredible Balinese paintings in both traditional and contemporary styles as well as artworks created by island’s most outstanding international artists. Some suggestions and map can be found at end of booklet

Antiques & Markets

If you are looking for Indonesian antiques (genuine or reproductions), or just enjoy browsing for eclectic homewares, try Jalan Kerobokan between the junction with Jalan Seminyak & the next set of traffic lights to the north. (Villas Sitara & Taman Rahasia are in the heart of this strip)

Perhaps surprisingly, two traditional fresh produce markets remain in Seminyak. The most convenient is on the west side of the last bend at the very northern end of Jalan Raya Seminyak (around the corner from Villa Umah Maya), & is widely known as Seminyak Market. A little more out of the way is a similar market in Kerobokan, called Taman Sari (a 2 minute walk from Villas Sitara & Taman Rahasia) Take Jalan Raya Kerobokan north from Jalan Raya Seminyak until you reach the first set of lights.
